What started as a part-time job to get through college turned into over 100 franchises and $35M revenue.
To help put himself through college, Joe Keeley started babysitting, and pretty soon, he had parents calling him to see if he had recommendations for other college students who were available for babysitting services. Before long, Keeley was acting as a recruiter, and College Nannies, Sitters and Tutors was born.
Keeley began to franchise his concept by offering territories to college students in other regions, and by 2016, he was up to more than 100 franchises—and a revenue of more than $34M network-wide. This is when he decided to cash out, and one of his biggest customers acquired him.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
- How to position a trigger so that a customer will become your acquirer
- The best way to prepare for due diligence
- The importance of managing your bookkeeping practices as if you were a public company
Keeley figured out how to scale his business quickly and efficiently through a franchise model. To see what options for growth best suit your business, check out Module 2 of The Value Builder System™. Get started for free right now by completing Module 1.
